Abstract
A submission to the Health Innovation Awards 2007 detailing the process of implementing and evaluating the Mangere Healthy Kai programme. The key objectives were to work with retailers to increase the availability and quality of "Healthy Kai" choices; to promote "Healthy Kai" choices to shoppers in Mangere Town Centre; and to encourage the community to buy "Healthy Kai" choices when eating out.
