Description
The Fruity Futures programme is an example of a school-based initiative delivered in a Māori context. Based in Palmerston North, Fruity Futures provides Kōhanga Reo, Kura Kaupapa, whare kura and whānau with the opportunity to grow fruit and vegetables with the aim of increasing nutrition levels and physical activity, and promoting healthy eating and nutrition messages.
