Abstract

This report presents the findings from a process evaluation of Government-led food and nutrition initiatives in schools and early childhood education services in New Zealand. The present evaluation focussed on Mission-On Initiative One, titled “Improving nutrition within the schools and early childhood environments”. The aim of the initiative was to provide guidance and support to schools and early childhood education services to provide and promote healthy food and beverage options for the children and young people attending.
