Abstract
This report was produced for the Ministry of Health. Understanding the perceptions of key stakeholders is an important part of developing a successful strategy. A number of organisations associated with nutrition and physical activity interventions in the Auckland region were approached to participate in a structured interview that sought to understand their views across a range of issues. Stakeholders represented a broad selection of organisations, those directly involved in service provision and those in coordinating and capacity development roles. This analysis reports on the key issues the stakeholders identified about the existing HEHA ‘implementation environment’ and what types of changes would improve the collective ability to bring the HEHA plan to life.
