Across New Zealand Pacific communities are rising to the challenge of improving nutrition and physical activity. Pacific people are increasingly aware of the health problems linked to obesity in adults and children. Pacific health leaders are working with their communities to develop creative and uniquely Pacific responses to achieving HEHA. Successful health initiatives are set in churches, communities and workplaces. Pacific people are also finding a strong community voice to advocate for healthier environments.
