Are exercise professionals fit to provide nutrition advice? An evaluation of general nutrition knowledge (Australia)

This study investigated the level of general nutrition knowledge of registered exercise professionals, and compared this to a sample of community members, and university trained dietitians. The authors found that "total nutrition knowledge and knowledge of diet-disease relationships is limited in registered exercise professionals', and that encouraging them to work collaboratively would assist in providing client care.
