Abstract

The authors report the grades for the 2018 New Zealand Report Card on Physical Activity for Children and Youth, which represents a synthesis of available New Zealand evidence across core indicators. Overall physical activity was graded a D-, organised sport participation a B, active play a C+, active transportation received a C-, sedentary behaviours a D, family and peers a C-, school was graded a B-, community and environment a B, and Government a B+ .
