Abstract
Using data from the New Zealand Cancer Registry, the researchers assessed trends over time of incidence and mortality rates for each Māori, Pacific, and non-Māori/non-Pacific women in four age groups (< 40, 40–49, 50–74, and 75 +). Pacific women were found to have the highest incidence, which they attribute, in part, to rates of obesity. This conclusion, however, requires further research.
