Abstract

Following the Pilot study (2015), this two arm, parallel randomised controlled trial examined the diabetes self-management text based support intervention (SMS4BG) in adults with poorly controlled diabetes. The results show a significant reduction in HbA1c in the intervention group at the completion of the trial period (nine months).
