Nō te Ariki te aroha, horahia nuitia e, Ki runga ki ngā iwi hei kākahu rā mō Te Iti mō Te Rahi e.
Last year, Te Rau Matatini conducted the Māori Health Workforce 2018 Te Iti me Te Rahi: Everyone Counts survey. From January-October 2018, members of the Māori Health Workforce from across Aotearoa supported the survey. Te Iti me Te Rahi was distributed online as well as promoted at national workforce conferences and wānanga by Te Rau Matatini, and through the networks of national workforce associations, iwi, rūnanga, Tumu whakarae, and key rōpū. Te Rau Matatini thanks you all for your participation.
Today, a report and key fact sheets of the survey data provide information about the Māori health workforce. With over 2000 participants, Te Iti Me Te Rahi: Everyone Counts survey has been able to amass never before collected innovative information about our Māori health workforce. Te Iti me te Rahi: Everyone Counts Survey, and the report were prepared through a partnership between Te Rau Matatini and the National Institute of Demographic and Economic Analysis (NIDEA), Waikato University.
