Exploring the understanding of the term “ultra-processed foods” by young consumers

This research explores young consumers' understanding of ultra-processed foods and reveals a number of misconceptions. The authors recommend that any educational campaign include a clear definition of what constitutes 'ultra-processed foods' and the associated health risks.
