New Zealand is in the midst of a disease revolution and health practitioners are at the front line.
Many feel ill-equipped to deal with this epidemiological transition sweeping our nation, which has seen chronic lifestyle disorders, such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease, rise at alarming rates.
This one-day seminar will explore the development of lifestyle disease and how the path for these chronic diseases are laid down in early life; the need for health practitioners to change focus in order to treat it, and the development of practical skills so you can effectively support clients to make the critical and lasting lifestyle behavior changes they need.
