The effect of a programme to improve men’s sedentary time and physical activity: The European Fans in Training (EuroFIT) randomised controlled trial

The European Fans in Training (EuroFIT) programme was developed to improve physical activity and sedentary time in male football fans, delivered through the professional football setting. This randomised controlled trial found that, while the short-term outcomes were positive they were not sustained at the 12 month mark. The researchers however conclude that it may be worth the investment, in spite of the "ceiling effect."
