Effect of Macronutrient Composition on Appetite Hormone Responses in Adolescents with Obesity

This qualitative research explores the effect of a high-protein and a high-carbohydrate meal on postprandial gut appetite hormones in obese vs. healthy weight adolescents aged 11-19. While they found that responses were modulated, "this did not translate to subsequent changes in subjective appetite or energy intake".
