Health advice and education given to overweight patients by primary care doctors and nurses: A scoping literature review

This literature review explores the extent and quality of advice given by primary care doctors and nurses. Given the variable quality and extent of missed opportunities to address obesity in their patients, the authors conclude: "A ‘toolkit’ approach to improve advice and adherence to evidence based guidelines should be explored in future research."
