Abstract

This article reports on the Healthy Mums and Babies (HUMBA) randomised controlled trial that assesses the efficacy of administering probiotics and education to a cross-section of pregnant women with obesity of differing ethnicities. The researchers found that, while probiotics were ineffectual, education was more likely to have greater future benefits.
