Abstract

This research investigates the paradox of the CREBRF missense variant (p.Arg457Gln) being associated with low risk of type 2 diabetes, yet higher BMI. Their hypothesis that the higher BMI is, in fact, correlated with taller stature, common in Māori and Pacific adults.
