Along with the full marathon, the Rotorua Marathon offers the Red Stag Timber off-road half marathon, 10km and a 5.5km run or walk to choose from.

Rotorua branch manager, Karen Reed, is leading the Diabetes NZ team in this year's Rotorua marathon.
2020 marks Karen's 40th anniversary living with type 1 diabetes. Karen, says "It's been a journey of highs and lows (literally!) but along the way I've met some truly inspiring people who have helped me stay on track. That's what Diabetes New Zealand is all about!"
There's a distance for everyone, from the 5.5km FUN RUN to the full Marathon, (participants in the half and full marathon each receive a souvenir event cap) and all finishers receive a commemorative medal.
