Despite being urged by authorities and supermarket bosses not to panic buy before lockdown, many people have gone overboard and cleared grocery shelves, before workers have time to refill them.
There is plenty of food to go round, but while you’re waiting for shelves to be restocked, why not give baking your own bread a go. It’s such a rewarding activity and will fill your home with a comforting smell like no other.
Here are eight of our easiest bread recipes to try. The soda bread and sourdough don’t even require yeast, and the seed and oat bread doesn’t use flour!
