Consuming Gymnema sylvestre Reduces the Desire for High-Sugar Sweet Foods

This research explores the effect of consuming Gymnemic acids, from the plant Gymnema sylvestre (GS), made into mints, on participants' desire for chocolate. Results showed a reduction in chocolate consumption by those who ate the mint, compared to the control group, who ate a placebo.
