Chronic conditions in the community: Preventative principles and emerging practices among Māori health services providers

This research identifies how Māori health providers are meeting the needs of Māori by preventing chronic conditions. Using a case study approach, the researchers found that providers were engaging in strategies to move away from "being “the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff” to “building a fence at the top.”"
