Abstract

Three early life obesity prevention trials (POI, INSIGHT, Healthy Beginnings) and a longitudinal cohort study (HOME) were used for this cohort study to assess the impact sleep duration had on children's obesity risk. They found that the later the timing of bedtime occurred correlated with increased BMI scores, and ultimately, the risk of obesity.
