Outcomes of a church-based lifestyle intervention among Australian Samoans in Sydney – Le Taeao Afua diabetes prevention program

This evaluation of a church-based lifestyle intervention programme trialed in a Sydney Samoan church to support the prevention and management of Type 2 diabetes amongst the Samoan population. While the intervention showed promise, befor being rolled-out elsewhere, more rigorous testing in a larger randomised controlled trial over a longer time period will be required.
