Interventions to prevent or treat childhood obesity in Māori & Pacific Islanders: a systematic review

This systematic review seeks to evaluate thecultural appropriateness of strategies currently used to target Māori and Pacific Island children and adolescents designed to prevent or treat overweight or obesity in these priority groups. While they found that co-design principles during the design and implementation stages improved outcomes, they recommend future research looks at improving this further via increased cultural engagement.
